Why it is Advantageous to Use 3rd Party PHP Scripts When Constructing a Website
Posted by admin | Filed under php scripts
First things first. PHP scripts are not what the Philadelphia House Players use to learn their lines for the upcoming production of Blithe Spirit.
PHP is essentially a language used for scripting web development that can then be embedded in HTML. It’s not as complicated as it sounds, but that doesn’t mean it’s that simple either.
For this reason, many web designers have used the script they have been given from their client, but this isn’t always the best option. It can be a frustrating and time consuming business and something that rarely leads to a rewarding end product. (more…)
Hummingbird - Auto-follow on Twitter
Posted by admin | Filed under marketing
There has been a lot of stink over Auto-following software for Twitter, people have said that it diminishes the purpose of Twittering as people can over market their products.
But Hummingbird has recently released a new version of their auto-following software for Mac and Windows in partnership with Twitter so it complies with all their API rules, this way you will not get banned by the Twitter mods.
This is what they say on their site “Users are given a “quality score” as Hummingbird scans for only highly targeted, active followers. Built in, highly optimized engine that automatically removes those users whom dont follow you back.” This way you can drive thousands relevant people to your website, which are more likely to convert into sales…
You can also use it as a normal Twitter management app, posting new tweets, photos and urls.

HREF.IN - Short url service
Posted by admin | Filed under Uncategorized
Hi, My name is Adam and I am one of the co-founders of JS. I have recently aquired a website called HREF.IN which is a short url service. The things that make it different are it’s simple but stylish looks, it is Ajax (meaning you don’t have to wait for the page to reload to get your link) so basically this makes it faster, and it cuts out all the junk nobody it interested in which you may have seen on some similar sites. This doesn’t mean we’re not adding new features, it means we are not going to add unnecessary ones. It has an API which will allow you to make short urls on the go, and each new short link is immediately added to HREF’s Twitter account… I would really appreciate it if all you great readers could start posting about it on your blogs, and spread the word!
Thanks,
Adam

TIP: Looking for SEPRS juice? Anchor text is where it’s at!
Posted by admin | Filed under Uncategorized
When it comes to SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Sometimes people tend to waste a lot of time and money to try and achieve results… and often they fail because they misplace their efforts.
For example, if you want to get a better placement in Google’s SERPS (search engine results page), there’s something very important you should get focused on: getting lots of backlinks pointing to both your main page and sub-pages.
When you’re planning your linkbacks campaigns, you should be mindful on the anchor text you choose (the actual text where you click): that’s where the real juice is! If you get a lot of targeted backlinks pointing to your pages, you should rest assured your SERPS for that keyword will steadily climb.
Also, you should not limit your efforts to just getting links from high PR (pagerank) pages; it’s best to try and get as many links as possible - just make sure you keep your anchor texts focused on specific keywords.
